PCB Testing

Probe-flying  and E-testing fixture are two different ways for PCB testing, and they are complementary to some extent. They have the same purpose which is to test if the PCB boards would have some problems of circuit open, short, via barriers etc. This helps to make sure the boards we dispatched to customers will be workable and perform well.

Prototype Orders:  

Flying probe test is quick and easy to program and develop; it can save the cost and time to make a testing jig. Usually in order to help our customers to save cost, we will use flying probe test for sample orders or small batches under 3 square meters. No matter you request or not in small orders, all PCBs we made will be Proble fly tested.

Production Orders:

So for large mass production more than 3 square meters  we will suggest to make an e-testing jig, and it will be charge once only. This fixture is developed based on customer design, and it can test one set directly at the same time and the screen will reflect the result immediately and correctly. The boards tested and passed from the e-testing fixture will be more reliable, and this will help our customers to save some unnecessary cost resulted by some defected boards.The Tester will check for short circuits, open circuits, and make sure the nets of the PCB we made is the same as the nets in your design. After testing is complete, the fail rate of your boards will be less than 0.1%.
